The GA series ring main switchgear is installed on a galvanized sheet frame, with the switch unit housed within an SF6 gas tank made of corrosion-resistant and non-magnetic 3mm thick stainless steel plate. The SF6 gas tank is a "sealed pressure system" that can operate for 20 years under normal working conditions. The pressure of SF6 gas during normal operation ranges from 0.15 to 0.4 bar. The gas tank is equipped with a pressure release device to ensure that gas can be released from the bottom or rear when the pressure becomes too high.

Switch unit:
The load switch adopts a coaxial rotating double-break design, allowing functional operation through a single operating hole in conjunction with a sliding plate. Therefore, the switch can only be in one of three states at any given time: "closed, open, or grounded," completely eliminating the risk of misoperation.
Operating mechanism:
The operating mechanism of the switch is installed at the front outside the air box, which has undergone process treatment to prevent rust and corrosion, facilitating manual operation and maintenance, and making electric operation easily achievable.
A cable chamber that truly meets the demand
The cable connection chamber boasts ample space and features a standard sleeve design, ensuring compatibility with European-style standard cable plugs. Under normal circumstances, each load switch unit can accommodate 1 to 3 outgoing lines, while the design version can accommodate 4 to 6 outgoing lines. The vacuum circuit breaker unit can accommodate 1 to 2 outgoing lines.
Pressure relief device:
The pressure relief device is separated from the cable chamber by a metal plate. If the pressure inside the gas tank becomes too high, the explosion-proof membrane inside the device will rupture to release the pressure.
Cable connection:
Standard universal specification sleeves (compliant with DIN47636 standard or American standard) are selected to facilitate users in choosing corresponding cable accessories. T-shaped front and rear cable plugs are used for connection, with a European-style bolt step-by-step fastening structure. The connection between the front plug and the sleeve utilizes M16 bolts.
Lightning arrester connection:
The load switch unit can be equipped with a T-shaped rear-plug-in silicone rubber fully sealed metal zinc oxide arrester. When there are multiple cable circuits and insufficient space, a π-shaped rear-plug-in arrester can be used. Design Description:
Interlocking mechanism:
The interlocking mechanism inside the switch can effectively prevent misoperations and ensure that the cable chamber can only be accessed when the switch is in the "grounded" state. An external lock can be added to lock it in different states.
Auxiliary switch:
Load switches and grounding switches can be equipped with auxiliary switches that can simultaneously reflect the position status of the switches as needed.
Fuse: replacement is direct and convenient. The fuse is housed within an insulating tube, which is situated inside the metal gas tank of SF6.
