Short Description:
The static reactive power generator and SVG reactive power compensation device are mainly used for reactive power compensation, improving power factor, and optimizing power quality. The SVG/ASVG series covers models with specifications of 35KVar, 50KVar, 75KVar, and 100KVar, featuring continuously adjustable compensation output, effectively addressing the shortcomings of the stepwise compensation of traditional reactive power compensators.
The Static Var Generator (SVG) reactive power compensation device is primarily used for reactive power compensation, improving power factor, and optimizing power quality. The SVG/ASVG series covers models of 35KVar, 50KVar, 75KVar, and 100KVar, featuring continuously adjustable compensation output, effectively addressing the drawbacks of stepwise compensation in traditional reactive power compensators.
Operating Principle of the SVG Static Var Generator
The Static Var Generator (SVG) works by using external current transformers (CTs) to detect the load current in real-time, and then internal DSP calculations analyze the reactive component of the load current. According to the set values, the PWM signal transmitter sends control signals to internal GBTs, enabling the inverter to generate reactive compensation current as required, ultimately achieving dynamic reactive power compensation.
