The complete set of high-voltage passive filter compensation device is mainly composed of filter capacitors, filter reactors and high-pass resistors, forming a single-tuning or high-pass filter channel, which has a good filtering effect on specific subharmonics and harmonics above a certain order, and at the same time compensates the reactive power of the system, improves the power factor of the system, improves the voltage stability of the system, and the safety and reliability of the power supply system. Applications:
High-power rectifier devices: such as electrolytic aluminum, intermediate frequency furnaces, rolling mills, etc., semiconductor devices will produce characteristic harmonics related to their wiring methods in the process of shutting down and opening up, and the harmonic current flowing into the system will affect the normal operation of transformers and motors, causing them to overload or even burn out.
Electric locomotives: At present, most of the electrified railway locomotives used in operation in various countries use AC 25~35kV power supply, and some substations are two-phase powered. This inevitably causes three-phase load asymmetry, thus injecting harmonic current and negative sequence current into the power system. Generally, filters with the same capacity are installed on the two power supply arms of the traction transformer.
Load of ferromagnetic devices: such as transformers, iron core reactors, etc., when they work in a saturated state, due to the nonlinearity of the magnetization curve, a certain number of harmonics will be generated, of which the cubic is the main when there is a parallel compensation capacitor in the system, an appropriate ratio of the capacitance of the capacitance and the inductive reactance of the system will cause a serious amplification of the third harmonic.
