Working methods and characteristics
1. The device is mainly composed of high-voltage shunt capacitor bank, series reactor, capacitor switch vacuum contactor (vacuum switch), current transformer, zinc chloride arrester, reactive power automatic compensation controller, capacitor special microcomputer protection unit, digital voltage ammeter, temperature control fan device, electromagnetic lock sensor insulator, cabinet accessories, etc.
2. The device adopts a digital (or automatic power factor according to the reactive power demand) grouping method, binary coding of capacitors of different capacities, through automatic optimization combination, can achieve multi-stage capacitance regulation with a small number of capacitor groups and a small number of high-voltage vacuum switches, which will not cause a significant increase in cost, and has a good performance-price ratio. It can also be configured evenly according to the needs of users, and it can be cut step by step.
3. The jet fuse is connected in series with the capacitor, and when there is a part of the series section (60%~70%) breakdown inside the capacitor, the fuse acts to quickly cut off the fault capacitor from the capacitor bank, effectively preventing the fault from expanding (the internal fuse protection method is used for more than 200kvar).
4. The discharge coil is connected in parallel to the capacitor loop, and when the capacitor bank is withdrawn from the power supply, the remaining voltage on the capacitor can be reduced by less than 50V from the rated voltage peak within five seconds.
5. The series reactor is connected in series in the capacitor loop to limit the higher harmonics in the switched capacitor bank. To reduce the closing inrush current, the reactance of the series reactor is only 0.1%~1% for limiting the inrush current, 4.5~6% for restricting harmonics of more than five times, and 12% and 13% for suppressing harmonics of more than three times.

The structure design is reasonable, the thermal and dynamic stability is good, the cabinet-type live display device is mainly used to display the live state of the device, and there is a program lock, an observation window, with a forced locking function, the outdoor device has a fence, the cabinet door is closed by bolt rotation, safer and more reliable operation and maintenance personnel safety, the cabinet door observation adopts the reliable design concept of mesh CNC punching double-layer explosion-proof glass, and the cabinet top is equipped with a geographical pressure relief cover to prevent the short circuit in the cabinet from instantly generating pressure that cannot be released. From operational safety to equipment aesthetics, it reaches the technical level.

8. The use of high-voltage reactive power compensation controller to automatically control the switching of capacitors, with a high degree of automation, complete measurement, display, control and communication functions, can automatically compensate for the load reactive power according to the reactive power switching capacitor group, without manual intervention, the power factor is above 0.95, automatically exit in external faults or power outages, and automatically resume operation after power transmission.
9. The device is protected by a microcomputer protection unit, with two-phase current differential protection and opening triangular protection functions, and when each group of capacitors fails, the microcomputer protection unit cuts off and locks the group of capacitors, and the other capacitor banks operate normally.
10. The device is allowed to operate for a long time at the rated voltage of 1.1 times the power frequency.
11. The device is allowed to operate continuously under steady-state overcurrent of 1.3 times the rated current of the effective value caused by overvoltage and high harmonics.
