Purpose and scope of use：
HD and HS series knife switches (hereinafter referred to as switches) are suitable for use in complete power distribution equipment with rated working voltage up to690V and rated working current up to 3000A, operating at 50Hz, as infrequent manual connection and disconnection of circuits or asating switches.
Wherein:
1.1 The knife switch with a central handle is mainly used in power stations, and does not interrupt circuits with current, and is used an isolating switch.
1.2 The switch with a side lever operating mechanism is mainly used in switch cabinets for front operation and front maintenance, and the operating mechanism can be on both sides of the cabinet.
1.3 The switch with a central front lever operating mechanism is mainly used in switch cabinets for front operation and rear maintenance, and the mechanism is installed in the front.
1.4 The switch with a side handle operating mechanism is mainly used in power boxes.
1.5 The switch with an arc extingishing cover can interrupt the appropriate current load, and other series of knife switches are only used as isolating switches.
The products comply with GB/T 1404.3 standard.

Note: 1. For HD13 and HS13, the BX rotary operating mechanism can be selected; for HD11 and11, the connection method can be selected;
2. When ordering, the user must specify the type characteristics, voltage level, current level, number of poles, operating method and quantity of the switch;
3. Ordering example: Ordering HS13 type switch, 250 shell frame, rated current 250A,-pole, with arc extinguishing cover, rotary operating, 10 pieces should be written as HS13BX-250/31 10.
Note 1. Products with arc extinguishing devices for 2000A and 3000A shell frames use a double-row structure with copper bars for single-phase, and products without arc extinguishing devices use a single copper bar. There are differences in appearance and installation dimensions between single and double copper bar products

Normal working and installation environment:
△The surrounding air temperature shall not exceed 40°C and shall not be lower than -5°C.
△The altitude of the installation site shall exceed 2,000 m.
△Temperature: at a maximum temperature of 40°C, the relative humidity of the air shall not exceed 50, at lower temperatures a higher relative humidity may be permitted, e.g. 90% at 20°C.Special measures shall be taken for occasional condensation to temperature changes.
△The degree of pollution of the surrounding environment shall be 3;
△Switches shall be installed vertically in a place where there is no appreciable shaking, vibrations and where there is no ingress of rain and snow, and where the installation site is free from explosive dangerous media and where the media contains no gases and dust that are sufficient corrode the metal and destroy the insulation.
